The Residency

Step two · the done-for-you retainer

Everything in The Correspondence, and I hold the camera too.

I film, I edit, I run the account. You show up on shoot day, and seven pieces a week go out without you touching an app.

On a six-month commitment I train someone on your side in the final quarter, so the system keeps running when I step back.

$1500, or from $2000 per month for the cinematic tier

The Residency opens after The Full Reconstruction. Not as a rule I enjoy enforcing, but as the only way this works.

Handing a camera crew a brand nobody has diagnosed produces beautiful content that sells nothing. The ninety days are where the brand world, the pillars, the series and the calendar come from; the retainer is where they get made, week after week.

Start with The Full Reconstruction →

I hold the camera. And everything after it.

Seven posts a week, on one platform. The mix of video, carousel, photo and text depends on which platform that is.

Filming, editing, colour, sound, cover images, posting and scheduling. A light community layer on top, so comments and DMs are handled the way your brand actually speaks.

Your job is to be in the room on shoot day. Everything either side of that is mine.

How the month runs

  1. The content board for next month is approved: series, formats, concepts.
  2. I build the storyboards and shot lists, and we book the shoot.
  3. One or two shoot days, depending on the level. I film.
  4. I edit, colour, cut covers, write hooks and captions, and schedule.
  5. It goes out, and we read what it did on the monthly call.

One 60 min strategy call a month, and async feedback between them.

What’s Included.

Both retainers share a spine. What changes between them is who holds the camera.

Every month, in both retainers

What The Residency adds

Seven posts a week, on one platform, every month.

The month

One day in front of a camera. Then a month of it going out.

The whole month collapses into a shoot day. Everything before it is planning you approved; everything after it is production you never see.

What you get back is the thing founders never have: a feed that runs at full volume while you work.

01

The content board

Next month, decided before it starts. Series, formats and concepts drawn from your pillars, laid out and approved by you. Nothing gets shot off a whim, and nothing gets shot twice.

02

The shoot day

One day a month at level 1: one location, a single setup, clean and consistent. Two days at level 2, across multiple locations and angles, with B-roll banks and scene-based pieces. You show up and follow the shot list.

03

The production

Editing, colour, sound, cover images. Hooks and captions on every piece, scheduled onto the calendar, posted, with comment and DM guidance so the replies sound like the brand too.

04

The handover

On a six-month commitment, the final quarter trains someone on your side to carry the system. I would rather leave you able to run it than leave you needing me.

The bottleneck was never the strategy.

Most founders who stall online have a plan. What they do not have is a Tuesday free enough to film it, edit it, write it and post it, seven times, every week, for a year.

The Residency removes that. The plan stays yours; the labour stops being yours.

If you would rather keep the camera and just hand over the thinking, that is The Correspondence.

Terms

Opens after The Full Reconstruction.

Same Hours, Different Places.

Every client gets the same number of hours. Where they go adapts to what you are already good at.

Before you apply

No. The retainer runs the system the Reconstruction builds: the brand world, the pillars, the series, the calendar. Filming against no strategy is how people end up with a gorgeous feed and no clients.

Shoot days and range. At $1500 it is one day a month, one location, a single setup: clean, consistent, built for founders who are the content. From $2000 it is two full days across multiple locations and angles, with B-roll banks and scene-based pieces.

The volume is identical at both levels: seven posts a week.

One shoot day a month (two at level 2), one 60 min strategy call, and whatever time you spend approving the content board. That is the whole ask.

Montréal and around it. Level 1 is one location, usually yours, because the room you actually work in carries more than a rented studio. Level 2 moves between locations, which is what the second shoot day buys.

Then we swap the hours. My side becomes direction plus post-production, and the time that would have gone to filming goes into concept and edit instead. Same price, different allocation.

Month to month with 60 days notice. Commit for three months for roughly 5% off, six months for roughly 10%, and pay in full for a further 5% on top. The longer the commitment, the lower the price, and the six-month term is the only one that includes training your team to take it over.

Bien sûr. Calls, scripts, captions and community replies can be in French, in English, or in both if your audience lives in both.
